What to do in the case of loss of baggage
If you think your bag has been lost contact the "Lost and Found office" in the arrival area (maps) and show the baggage receipt that
was attached to your ticket.
The operator at the office will initiate proceedings for baggage retrieval.
If your airline deems it necessary, you will be provided with a kit containing essential items.
If your airline uses the World Tracer baggage tracing system, you can visit their web site to use and tracking all information regarding your baggage.
Delays and damage
The Passenger Rights Charter provides for compensation in the case of ruined, damaged, lost or delayed baggage on a flight operated by an airline in the EU.
Requests for compensation must be made within 7 days of baggage arrival in the case of damage to a registered bag and within 21 days for delayed receipt of baggage.
Please contact the local Enac office, the authority entrusted with implementation of the new charter
